Shri Panchganga Temple

Origin of 5 rivers (Krushna, venna, koyna , savitri, gaytri) This is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The source of the five rivers (Krishna, Vena, Koyna, Savitri and Gayatri) is at the same place.

Datta Temple

Time: 11:00 AM, Duration: 10 mins

This temple is located on Lodwick Point Road, about 05 km from Mahabaleshwar city. It is dedicated to Lord Shri Dattatreya – the combined form of the Trinity (Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh). This temple is a place of great devotion for Datta devotees.

Hanuman Temple

Time: 11:10 AM, Duration: 10 mins

This temple was established in 1644 during the visit of Samarth Ramdas Swami. Interestingly, in this idol, Lord Hanuman is not holding his characteristic mace or the Dronagiri mountain in both hands. Unlike many other temples where only a partial view of Hanuman’s face is visible.

Rudreshwar Temple

Rudreshwar Temple is located in the old Mahabaleshwar area. This temple has religious importance. This temple is special because it has a Rudraksha Shivalinga. It was established in 1765 by the Queen Ahilyabai Holkar of Indore.

Shri Kshetra Mahadev Temple

This temple is about 800 years old and has a self-made Shivalinga inside. ‘Suvarna Tula’ Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj had his mother Jijau’s golden Tula performed in Mahabaleshwar on 6 January 1665. In this Tula program, gold ornaments equal to the weight of Rajmata Jijau were donated.
